Thanks to an amazing zine from Indonesia – Sayuri’s Raw Recipes –  I was able to try out this lovely raw hummus. SO GOOD!! You can find her zine here.


1 large zucchini, diced

2 cups of sesame seeds, soaked for 1 hour and drained

1 clove of garlic

4 tablespoons of tahini

4 tablespoons of lemon juice

4 tablespoons of cold pressed olive oil

1 teaspoon of Himalayan salt

1 tablespoon of ground cumin

1 teaspoon of black pepper

1/2 teaspoon of chili powder


Blend all ingredients until pureed.
